Not sure how many times I’ve seen this video today, still the effect is pretty much staggering.
Inspired by Japanese indie band Androp and their pretty ear catchy track “Bright Siren”, a group of pro enthusiasts came up with the idea of using camera strobes as pixels to create an animation out of light. They actually lined up 250 cameras and controlled each strobe through a computer programme. All the lights in the video are real and no CG were used. Can you believe that?!
Just image all the effort, energy and creativity put into this project and you’ll realise what an awe-inspiring piece of art this is.
